Tasting notes

Light peach, white grape, pink grapefruit and chai spiced undertone. Medium body, light cinnamon and dark chocolate aftertaste.

Detailed cup profile

This 2020/21 Harvest highlights a distinctive watermelon tone and a light peachiness to the aroma. A sweetness similar to a ripe pink grapefruit and a distinct earthiness in the form of a chai spice is clear to us. A lovely dry aftertaste of cinnamon and dark chocolate complete what is a wonderfully complex and yet balanced coffee.

Background story

Thailand has a very small but dynamic Specialty Coffee scene. For a while all the best coffees stayed inside Thailand where independent roasters are growing in popularity, so it is not so widely known outside of the region. But it’s reputation is growing. The mountainous province of Chiang Mai in Northern Thailand offers the perfect landscapes, altitudes and micro-climates for growing these wonderful coffees. Our export partner Beanspire has secured us just a small quantity of this highly sought-after coffee so it is a very Limited Edition offer.

Perfect preparation

A richly flavoured and textured espresso; moka pot; all milky coffees.

Brewing guide

We think the best of this very rare coffee comes through in black coffee preparations, but equally has a quality that shines through in milk drinks.

As espresso we prepare it in our espresso machine with:

  • 18g fine grind coffee IN
  • 40ml coffee OUT
  • 30 seconds EXTRACTION TIME

This coffee will also taste awesome as a short Americano, in a moka pot or using an Aeropress. You can refer here to our full brewing guide in your Dashboard.

If you love your coffee with milk, we think a cappuccino with regular or oat milk is a sweet way to go!
